Goal:  Attend the 2025 AAG Annual Meeting in Detroit and through participation in sessions on sustainability in higher education, environmental policy, urban resilience, and geography education, this project will enhance UCCS sustainability programming, strengthen curriculum development, and contribute to ongoing graduate research.

Impact:  Strengthen UCCS’s engagement with local and global sustainability movements. Integrate cutting-edge research on sustainability education, urban resilience, and environmental policy into UCCS programming. Provide frameworks for climate adaptation, sustainable city planning, and ecological justice, which can be applied to campus sustainability initiatives and coursework.
