Residential Supply Swap Feasibility Study

Spring 2025

Project Overview

Project Coordinator: Tylor Teel

Project Sponsor: Nicholas Fusilier

Responsible Department: Leadership, Research & Foundations, Student Affairs in Higher Education

Total GAF Funding: $1,600

Themes: Residential Waste, Upcycling, Sustainable Programs

Goal:  UCCS Dorm Swap that students could participate in during Move-Out and Move-In. This proposal would be phase 1 of the project to gather information from other institutions and how they successful manage their program. Engage students in providing upcycled items for future students through donation.

Impact: Reduce the waste we dispose of during the move out season and upcycle items that prospective students can use. Help students with financial insecurities to ensure they get the supplies they need for success.
