Themes: Actionable Solutions, Local Collaboration, Sustainability Education

Goal:  Increasing collaboration with local businesses, expanding student exposure to lesser-known sectors of sustainability, and providing Colorado Springs organizations an opportunity to share their work through a tabling fair integrated into the event. Use local, sustainable UCCS catering and providing bamboo utensils to reduce waste and model low-impact event practices, and even bringing in local Colorado ingredients​​

Impact: Advance the social pillar by creating a large-scale, student-centered engagement opportunity on campus. Attendance tracking, post-event feedback, and the number of students, departments, and businesses participating. Highlight Green Action Fund supported projects, motivating students and attendees to identify ways to reduce the campus ecological footprint through future proposals, campus initiatives, or personal behavior changes. ​
