They used a recycled Ford C-Max hybrid battery pack from a salvaged car to make an electric cart as their prototype to their final EV. The team then planned to compete in the 2018 SAE Collegiate Design Series, designing and manufacturing a Formula specced electric race car from scratch, and participated in several dynamic events.
