Project Overview
The central aim of this project was to explore the feasibility of scaling up a transition from fluorescent lighting. The predominant lighting technology at UCCS, to LED lighting, which is more energy efficient and less environmental hazardous. Determining how the different lighting conditions are perceived by students is essential to this end, for students must be adequately satisfied with LED lighting and perceive it to be adequate in terms of the amount of glare and brightness if these lights are to be utilized throughout other academic buildings.
