Using an electric golf cart, OIT can provide employees with a safe, economic and environmentally friendly way to transport personnel and equipment. Historically, OIT has shared one gas powered vehicle for transportation operations. The addition of the electric cart will allow OIT to provide the best experience for University students by being able to respond to incidents all across campus in a quick and consistent timeframe, while reducing the ecological footprint at UCCS.
