Winona LaDuke is a well-known environmental activist. As a member of the Mississippi Band Anishinaabeg who lives and works on the White Earth Reservations, she has written extensively on Native American and environmental issues. We invited Winona to speak to our campus community, we had the opportunity for our students, faculty and staff to hear a different perspective on environmental activism and potential avenues in which to involve themselves in these important issues.
