This is a student-led research project to research and document information on the decision process for hub motor design for FSAE-like vehicles. The purpose of this study is to create a methodology that can be used and adapted to modify and design new motors that fit the club’s (FSAE) needs allowing teams to design more powerful, efficient, and competitive design configurations.
