Goal: Increase GES presence and representation in the field amongst peers and instructors at the AAG conference; spur curiosity, educate, inspire exploration, and encourage geographical and sustainability studies among students to help drive awareness of the field.
This project aims to fund 11 student members of the GeoClub to attend the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting, occurring in Denver, CO in 2023.
Impact: 11 student members of the GeoClub attended the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting in Denver, providing exposure to current research, scholars, field experts, and projects that increase sustainability awareness, promote practical applications, and inspire future student
research.
